Netflix has unveiled a thrilling new trailer of the hit series Squid Game Season 2, revealing terrifying challenges in the infamous, colorful death match. Premiering on December 26, the second installment sees the return of the victorious Player 456, portrayed by Lee Jung-jae, who re-enters the sadistic competition to dismantle Squid Game and save lives.
Back in the game, Player 456 attempts to guide the other 455 participants through a deadly round of Red Light, Green Light, but his efforts are in vain as chaos ensues with bullets flying.
The Season 2 trailer showcases intense scenes with Player 456 and others fighting against the guards and facing new lethal challenges.

It was previously announced that “Squid Game” will return for a third season, which will be the show’s final installment. The series originally premiered in 2021 and quickly became Netflix’s most-watched show, accumulating over 2.2 billion hours viewed, equating to approximately 265 million views.
Accolades
Season 1 received 17 Emmy nominations and won six awards, including Best Actor in a Drama for Lee Jung-jae and Best Guest Actress in a Drama for Lee You-mi.
