Rockstar Games has released just one major trailer for GTA 6 so far, leaving GTA 5 and GTA Online players eagerly searching for clues or speculating on what changes may come with the next gameplay reveal. Fortunately for the developers, they have a perfect mini-game upgrade ready for the next game in the series.
In GTA 5, players can enjoy various mini-games in the arcade, such as Don’t Cross The Line and Street Crimes: Gang War Edition. These mini-games offer a fun break from the usual GTA Online chaos and provide nostalgic moments for older fans who remember playing classics like Pac-Man on similar machines.
While these mini-games are already popular within the community, there’s potential for an instant upgrade in GTA 6. The exciting part is that the developers already have this new mini-game ready to go.
Perfect Mini-Game for GTA 6
Imagine entering Pixel Pete’s Arcade and discovering this new mini-game! Today’s newer fans of the Grand Theft Auto series are accustomed to crystal-clear graphics, as GTA 5 has been continuously upgraded since its release in the Xbox 360 era. However, it wasn’t always like this.
The first game in the series, Grand Theft Auto 1, was released in 1997 for Game Boy and PC, offering a much simpler experience with its 2D universe. Nearly 30 years later, it would be perfect to include alongside these other arcade games.

One of the coolest aspects of bringing back GTA 1 in the present day is that much of the modern fanbase may never have experienced it before. The idea always receives positive feedback whenever it comes up in the online community.
Popular Idea Among Fans
On November 9, a Reddit user shared the same sentiment, stating they had recently watched footage of the old games on YouTube and saw the idea being shared there. They said, “I was watching a GTA 1 playthrough and saw this comment. I hope we’ll be able to play GTA 1 or GTA 2 in GTA 6. Most people have never played that game.” Included in the post was a comment from five years ago, which received 7,000 likes, expressing the hope that “One day we will play GTA 1 in a GTA game.”
Whether Rockstar decides to bring back one of the series’ all-time classics remains to be seen. However, with a substantial budget and plenty of time until launch, there’s a good chance that innovative ideas like this could be considered, especially with strong community support.
